Meet Dan Capper,
founder of BroMetrics.

Dan's Story

The inspiration behind BroMetrics stems from the personal journey of our founder, Dan Capper. This is his story…

The Early Days

At 29, Dan was thriving as a co-owner of a successful healthcare recruitment agency. However, as his business flourished, his personal health took a backseat. The demands of running a company left little time for self-care, exercise, and maintaining relationships, leading to a decline in his health.

Dan’s wake-up call came when he started experiencing heart problems. Ignoring the warning signs initially, his health continued to deteriorate with stress, weight gain, and mental health issues becoming constant companions. It wasn’t until he conducted diagnostic tests on himself that he realised the urgency of making a change.

The Transformation

With a background in Chemistry and the Operating Theatre, Dan utilised his knowledge and resources to transform his health. He embarked on a journey of rigorous exercise, essential supplementation, and lifestyle changes, supported by his close friends and community. Joining Triathlon groups and training under the guidance of Duathlon British Champion Katie Hewison, Dan achieved his dream of representing his country in Triathlon in 2024.

Through this transformative experience, Dan recognised the lack of open conversation and support surrounding men’s health. Combining his expertise in blood testing with a passion for holistic well-being, he founded BroMetrics to provide men with the tools and support needed to lead healthier lives.

Dan's Professional Background

Dan Capper is a Surgical Manager at a Private Hospital in Manchester, England, with extensive experience and entrepreneurial acumen in the Health Sector. Originally trained as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) in Anaesthetics, Resus, and PACU, Dan founded and successfully sold a UK-wide Healthcare Recruitment Agency in 2022.

Dan now lends his expertise as a non-executive director to several start-ups in the Northwest of England, where he resides with his two young children.

Dan's Community Involvement and Personal Achievements

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dan is deeply committed to charitable work, serving as a Trustee for the Blackpool Carers Centre, supporting families and carers of individuals with complex needs. An avid triathlete, Dan continues to pursue new challenges and has proudly represented GB in the European Championships. He now coaches other triathletes, including a competitor for the World Championships in Spain in October 2024.

A Tribute to Dan's Mum

Dan attributes his drive and passion to his late mother’s inspiring and supportive nature. Her sudden passing in December last year has reinforced his dedication to spending quality time with his children and promoting health awareness among men. Dan is particularly close to his father and hopes to break the stigma of men over 50 not discussing health issues, encouraging them to support each other for longer, healthier lives.
